I usually advise clients to not separate their website from their blog. There’s usually no point and it needlessly adds to the task list for the average small business owner who already has enough on their plate with one site to log in and update.
And then there’s times you can’t “follow the rules” because of some obstacle or other.
In this case, the obstacle is me. My head can’t wrap my head around the new-to-me website platform that the official Community Futures Yellowhead East website is built on. Yes, as tech savvy as I appear to be, there are a lot of things I just haven’t learned and experienced. It will take me months to sort out how to do things efficiently and I’m too impatient for that.
With a recession that may or may not be on the horizon, depending on what sources you listen to, I want to get as much good business information and inspiration out there as possible.
I’ve tried to keep the transition between the blog and the website as seamless, but you may find some functions clunky – if you need help navigating the site or have a specific question – please feel free to get in touch.
